How to Make Your Perfume Last Longer: 10 Simple Tips

"My perfume doesn't last" is one of the most common things we hear. Often the perfume is fine – it's how and where it is applied. These 10 simple tips will help any fragrance last much longer, even in Pakistan's heat.

1. Apply after a shower

Clean, slightly damp skin holds fragrance much better than dry skin. Spray within a few minutes of your shower.

2. Moisturise first

Perfume fades fastest on dry skin. An unscented lotion or a little petroleum jelly on your pulse points gives the scent something to hold on to.

3. Spray on pulse points

The neck, behind the ears, inner wrists, inner elbows and chest are warm spots that slowly release the scent through the day.

4. Don't rub your wrists

Rubbing creates heat and breaks down the top notes faster. Just spray and let it dry on its own.
